First time doing something like this, I found - like the other reviews - that it was a minor inconvenience which you forget about after 10-15mins. In saying that, I got a blinking red light on some of the connections every now and again as I was drifting off which woke me back up slightly - not sure if this was due to a pinched cord or similar, but usually when I straightened the cables and/or tightened the connections, it went back to green. This happened 2-3 times as I was drifting off.
I also didn't really think about the follow-up questions before I did the test, so late in the day afterwards I struggled to recall some things (time of sleep, time I woke up etc) and was saved only by my fitness watch tracking my sleep movements, so I'd suggest reading *all* of the material before doing the test. I just read the instructions to hook the sleep test up. The nasal bits and the finger connection fit well on me, and as others have mentioned, the tape wasn't very strong so I used some of my own which were fine.
Simple to order the test. Arrived the next day. Instructions were clear and simple. Then popped back into the bag next day and sent back.
I ordered online after doing the questions. 2 days latter it was at my home. I put it on and found the tape was a bit shit so I used sticking plasters . I also put a sticking plaster around my finger to hold wire above finger cup. All went well. Put the test kit in supplied courier bag and sent back. Easy and simple instructions .
Looking forward to hearing the analysis results
Easy to use but do make sure you use better tape. Finger probe came off the first night. I did wake up a lot but not for long. A great service provided, instructions were clear
Easy to setup the device but I must have slipped it off 3 or 4 times suggesting too use light medical sticky tape to hold the periferal connection to body
The sleep test equipment was easy to use, the nose piece did take a few minutes to get used too, but did not stop me from getting to sleep, overall was no problem at all, pleased I went through with it.
The test was easy to use. Obviously, wearing the cannula to the nose, the finger clip and the main chest strap to carry the monitor are all minor discomforts but not enough to keep me awake more than about 20 mins.
As an alternative to spending a night in hospital to be monitored it is very good indeed.
